I joined my husband in Photography in about the mid-nineties when he gave me a Nikon F65, he said to stop me moaning when I was waiting for him to take a picture while he was waiting for some good light and atmosphere to appear.

I then joined him in Tonbridge Camera Club after being encouraged to join the club by some of its members. It was not long before I was moving up through the classes and then into the advanced class, winning most of the camera club's major internal and external competitions.

My interest in Photography is mainly landscapes and flower Photography although I will have a go at anything if I believe it will make a good picture. I like soft subtle images with soft subtle colours found on misty mornings. I particularly love Cumbria and the Lake District for this sort of photography although my husband and I, have traveled to many locations around the country for our Photography.

I was shooting mainly on Sensia slide film which gave me the extra speed I needed in my Photography with my Nikon F65. I then in around 2000 moved entirely to digital, I have both a Nikon D50 my first digital camera, and a Nikon D90 with an 18 - 135 Nikkor Lens but my main camera of choice is a Fujifilm X T2 and an 18 - 135 Fujifilm Lens.
